- Columbia has announced the creation of the new Columbia Climate School. Dr. Courtney Cogburn, LEAP's Chief Equity Officer and Knowledge Transfer Director, has been appointed to the School's Design Committee.
- Dr. Maureen Raymo, LEAP's Senior Personnel contributing to its cryospheric research, has been appointed the Interim Director of Columbia's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. A New York Times article highlights her achievement.
